Know Your Device

So, if you haven’t decided on a smartphone yet or are going to buy one then make sure that it has more than 3,000 mAh which will last lost just enough for a day.

Avoid overcharging of the phone

First, don’t use the phone while charging and don’t keep your device charging once it got fully charged. Moreover don’t forget to plug-in your device to charge, when the battery falls bellow 10%.

Increase your Storage

Yes, heavy memory usage does affect the battery life and Phones with low core memory can get a boost from high-capacity memory cards for extreme storage space.

But it adds not only capacity but also speeds to the max. You can get among 8GB to a 32GB value of storage space to care high-speed read/write operations. Always go for memory cards of Class 4 or Class 10 for Android mobile if you pursue performance for your mobile and increase android battery life.

Don’t Use Vibrate mode.

Some people keep their mobile on vibrate mode. Vibrate and ringtone used to indicate incoming calls. Vibrating is draining the battery more than ringtones; because vibrating is nothing but shaking your phone by swing a small weight which takes lots of power from your battery.   • Turn Off Animations by going it About Device>Build Number (tap on it 5-7 times and developer mode will turn on) Now, Go back in the settings menu and then in Developer options>Under Drawing TAB>Windows, Transition and Animator scale to OFF!
  • Turn down the brightness and turn off Automatic Brightness Because it saves the battery.

There are essentially two kinds of displays currently on the smartphone market. AMOLED and LCD. AMOLED works by lighting up individual pixels to create images. LCD works by having a backlight that is overlaid by a screen that shutters and displays the backlight to create pixels which compose images.

This leads us to a counter-intuitive conclusion. If you have an AMOLED display, using a black wallpaper is the most power-efficient because the display doesn’t have to activate those pixels. They just get to rest. However, if you have an LCD display, the most power-efficient option is a white wallpaper because the screen doesn’t have to work to create the pixels. Strange but true.
