Now we all know that it’s been sometime that we have seen windows 10 a latest “innovation” launched by Microsoft but to be honest they really don’t do anything right on the first try…I mean yea its cool to get a free upgrade to a genuine windows and having the latest “thing” in the market. But new isn’t always better…
As you are reading this article know that you are facing issues with windows 10 and really all you want to simply go back to Windows 8.1 or Windows 7 whatever software came with your PC or laptop. And yes Microsoft does offer that functionality of reverting back to previous windows from where u upgraded. But sadly its only last a month/30 days.
And really some people like can’t make a decision in that short time or really have time to go back. As myself being a windows 10 user I felt good about it but it has its own issues like “SHUTDOWN PROBLEM/Sleep Mode Problem” and “Slow boot time” and sometime really bizarre graphics in game like GTA 5.
And finally when you have time and do decide to revert back but you realize you can’t go back as that option is not there anymore. Now being a smart kid if you made a recovery image file of previous windows that you are a smart Kid. But if you are lazy like me that follow this guide on
How to revert back to windows 8.1 or Windows 7 from windows 10 after 30 days or a Month.
NOTE: This procedure involves formatting of your C: Drive or any of that particular drive in which the system file is installed
STEP 1: Go to the windows logo and Click on Settings and then a new Tab will open up
STEP 2: GO to Update and security option and then press on Recovery option and then select “Restore Factory Settings”
STEP 3: And then in advance option Select factory format this PC and return to its Original state the way it came when Unboxed.
STEP 4: Now, be careful if you have only once drive that is Only C: in which all your data is stored then take backup to an external drive of your important data and then proceed. For rest of you relax your other drive won’t be formatted they are SAFE.
Now, most of the people doesn’t know that Factory resetting and selecting only C: drive in that option does take a while but it will bring you back to Windows 8.1 or Windows 7 (Whatever your PC or laptop) came installed with and you have your Windows back with all your data secured. Now simply set it up and enjoy.
